Painting Pretty

Yes, I know that is incorrect grammar, but I like it.  It sounds gooder. 

Besides, it's true, I did a "pretty" painting.  It is for a charity auction benefiting CHI Fund.  They asked if the artists could do a heart themed painting and that's what I did. 

I think it is very sweet.

Her name is Maddie.

She has put down her umbrella to catch as much love as she can.

I decided to do a painting for CHI Fund because of this amazing little bird and her amazing mom.

A New Schedule

School started almost two weeks ago.  We have been trying to find our rhythm.  I think today is the first day that things will begin to fall into place.  Don't get me wrong, I am not so delusional that I think life won't switch things up again, I just have to say that today feels right.

So.  Piper's first day.

This was a few seconds after she extracted herself from my leg.

Now, let's go explore a little bit.

At school there are colorful pencils,

my own cubby,

fun new teachers,

recess and new friends,

Ok, mom, this is not so bad.

Maybe I will stay awhile.
